Specialty Vehicle Engineering, the same New Jersey company behind that new Canyon-based GMC Syclone,
is back with another great creation. This is the 1000-horsepower 2020
Yenko/SC Camaro, and it can be yours for as low as $69,000.
Like the company's Yenko/SC Corvette revealed in 2018,
the Yenko/SC Camaro is a value proposition, offering 1000 horsepower
for under $70,000. Specialty Vehicle Engineering (SVE) takes the Camaro
SS's 6.2-liter LT1 V-8, and increases displacement to 6.8 liters. The
engine also gets a new crankshaft, new rods, forged pistons, CNC-ported
cylinder heads, ARP head studs, stainless steel headers, high-flow
catalytic converters, an upgraded fuel system, and naturally, a big
supercharger.

Other performance upgrades include 20-inch Torq-Thrust-style
five-spoke wheels wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires, a carbon
fiber hood, new springs, new bushings, and a two-mode exhaust. SVE uses
the Camaro SS 1LE as a base, and as a result, you also get Magnetic Ride
Control shocks, Recaro seats, and an electronic limited-slip
differential standard. As for cosmetics, there are red-painted brake
calipers, and available "Yenko/SC" graphics for the hood and sides.
There's also a bunch of unique badges to ensure everyone who sees the
car knows what it is.

SVE says it's building just 50 examples of the Yenko/SC Camaro, so if
you want one, you better act quickly. According to SVE, it can be
ordered from any Chevy dealer in the US, which is extremely convenient.
With this much power, this machine should definitely live up to the
Yenko Camaro legend.
