We know everyone wants to buy a crossover nowadays. But customers looking for an uncompromising ride, spacious cabin, and top-notch luxurious appointments sometimes prefer to shop among the many full-size sedans on the market. These roomy sedans run the gamut from affordable to pricey, powerful to efficient, and sporty to supremely comfortable.

2020 Audi A8 - $86,195

Audi's flagship sedan knows what its customers want: a quiet, supple ride, a luxurious and well-laid-out interior, and lots of advanced technologies. Open-pore wood mixes with soft leather in the cabin, and drivers will enjoy the digital instrument cluster featuring crisp Google Earth images. In the back, passengers are spoiled with reclining seats, screens, and foot massages.

2020 Dodge Charger - $31,390

The Charger is one of the least expensive large sedans on this list, and it's the best choice for smoky burnouts. Engine options range from a V-6 with 292 hp to a supercharged V-8 with 707 hp. The most efficient Charger gets 23 mpg in combined city and highway driving, but the 707-hp model gets just 15 mpg. The Charger benefits from a spacious cabin and a reasonable 16.5 cubic feet of cargo space.

The Genesis G90 has come a long way from its past life as the Hyundai Equus—just look at those stylish wheels. Quiet and comfortable, the G90 is one of the best large sedans on the market and can properly compete with the likes of Audi and Volvo. Buyers can choose between two smooth engines: a V-6 with 365 hp and a V-8 making 420 hp.

With 34.2 inches of rear legroom, the Maxima isn't as spacious as rivals including the 2020 Toyota Avalon (40.3 inches). It also offers less cargo space than the Avalon (14.3 cubic feet vs 16.1 cubic feet).

The standard model gets 26 mpg, and the Hybrid tops out at 44 mpg. The Avalon also benefits from a plush interior with lots of rear legroom.
