A full-sized vehicle with a larger body that it shared with the Roadmaster, the Buick Super was built from model years 1940 through 1958 (excluding World War II) before being replaced in 1959 by the Electra. For the 1957 Buick Super, the second-to-last year before its demise, the car sat on GM's new C-body platform. Back then, despite increasing the engine displacement for more power, sales were drastically low and the model could not be saved. Today, the 1957 Buick Super is a highly desired classic, one as clean as this fully restored convertible being offered by GAA Classic Car Auctions on Saturday, July 24th.

The '57 Buick Super convertible is in exceptional condition thanks to a meticulous frame-up nut-and-bolt restoration with the body slathered in an absolutely gorgeous two-tone finish using both Starlight Blue and Dresden Blue. Even more, this classic gem features a brand new blue Haartz convertible soft top with a soft parade boot that is electronically powered. On this old-school Buick's exterior sits a set of new Truespoke wire wheels shod with wide white-wall tires. To add to the car's classic curb appeal is that all bright work has been re-chromed.

Under the hood sits a 364-cubic-inch V8 engine rated at 300-horsepower with everything backed by a Dynaflow automatic transmission. This classic Buick features power brakes for stopping power and power steering that allows easy turning. Open the doors or lower the power convertible top to expose a brand new two-tone full leather interior. This classic Buick is also equipped with power windows and a power antenna.

If this absolutely stunning 1957 Buick Super convertible will fill those weekend voids, make sure to check out GAA Classic Car Auctions and register to bid. This classic gem is scheduled to cross the auction block on Saturday, July 24th.
